Behind the Scenes with Makeup Artist Tony Tulve

Our “New Lip! New Look!” social media campaign featured models wearing some of the many fabulous lip colors available at Alcone Company. As every artist knows, there’s nothing like the satisfaction of seeing the results of a great photoshoot. All of the beauty looks were created by Tony Tulve who, like all of the team at our NYC store, happens to be a super-talented freelance professional makeup artist. It was such a busy day that we only snapped a few behind-the-scenes shots, but still thought it would be fun to share a glimpse of Tony doing his thing along with the final images from the shoot.

Tony uses Mehron 1927 Liquid Vinyl Makeup to create an extreme winged eyeliner with an added texture boost of shine.

Tony uses Ben Nye Global Poudre Palette to touch up Ayet on set. This slim palette contains 12 finely milled powders from colorless to deep, allowing him to carry every shade he needs in his set bag.

Tony is making sure this gorgeous lip looks perfect and crisp by using Make-up Atelier Concealer Palette to highlight and clean the edges.
